Since 2021, our dedicated team has been actively present at multiple Ganesh Visarjan sites in Dahanu, working tirelessly to raise awareness and prevent the harmful impact of plastic waste on our oceans.

While overseeing the visarjan proceedings, we have actively assisted the Municipal Corporation and Law Enforcement Officers in ensuring that no plastic waste contaminates the ocean during the immersion process. Additionally, we have been providing guidance to devotees on the proper locations for disposing of nirmalya and any other remnants.

Spreading Awareness.


At the time of visarjan, people often overlook the significant amount of plastic they use and dispose of in the oceans without realizing the consequences. 

Raising awareness about the detrimental effects of plastic pollution and the importance of reducing plastic usage can play a crucial role in minimizing such incidents in the future. Our volunteers are always dedicated to helping people understand the significance of such measures for our oceans.

As of 2024, the general consensus is that plastic poses a significant threat to our environment, urging us to seek alternative options. 

It is our responsibility to cherish and protect our environment, even during times of celebration. By adopting sustainable practices and making eco-conscious decisions, we can show our respect for nature while still enjoying the festivities.
