It Started With This.
In the Monsoon of 2022, we decided to diversify our environmental efforts by hosting the Monsoon Afforestation Event, a unique program focused on planting trees and promoting green spaces, in contrast to our traditional beach clean-up activities.
This fantastic event was brought to life through the incredible collaboration and support of Vasudev Foundation, showcasing the power of teamwork and dedication in making a positive impact.
Tracking and Planting Together.
During the month of July in the year 2024, our dedicated volunteers wholeheartedly contributed to a noble cause by actively taking part in a tree planting event orchestrated by the esteemed team known as 'Shiv Sahyadri Giryarohak'.
At the event, a variety of saplings including Neem, Babool, Banyan, Palash, Drumstick, Peepal, and many other species were planted to enhance the greenery of the surroundings.
Donating Mango Seeds.
During the fruitful summer of 2023, we proudly acquired over 600 mango seeds.
We dispatched the seeds to Mr. Subhajit Mukherjee, a dedicated individual who is actively involved in leading the Afforestation Event in various neighborhoods across Mumbai as part of the impactful initiative known as 'Mission Green Mumbai'.
With their dedicated efforts, their team has managed to plant a remarkable total of more than 80,000 trees across the vibrant city of Mumbai, enhancing the greenery and environmental sustainability of the region.
Forests are the lungs of the earth.
